Hi, I´m Steffen, a UX designer from Potsdam, with over 8 years of working experiences. As a UX designer I see myself as the user defense. Many Companies are trying to digitalize their processes, but don’t involve the actual user while designing and developing a solution. The outcome are often products, that leave the user frustrated and require longer learning phases to adjust the users workflow to the application.
Actually it should be the other way around. Therefor a user defense is needed. With a lot of empathy for the user and a brought set of user centered design technics, I love to delve deep into the world of the user. Based on the insights, I create solutions that are aligned to the users process.
To make it short, I humanize technology.
I did study interface design at the University of Applied Science in Potsdam. As a working student I worked at SAP´s Innovation Center in Potsdam, where I also wrote my Bachelors Thesis in cooperation with SAP. After I finished, I continued working there and gained a broad set of experiences covering the whole user centered design process.
Afterwards, I could enhance my work experience at Klöckner.i, where I worked as the design lead in b2b-projects, helping digitalizing the processes in the steel and metal industry.
